How to Buy Claude Pro with Bitcoin

Bitcoin is the most requested way to pay for Claude Pro. It works well, with two caveats worth understanding before you send anything.

The process

Choose Claude Pro and a duration, select Bitcoin as your payment asset, and you will be given a deposit address, an exact BTC amount, and a QR code. Send the exact amount from your wallet or exchange, wait for network confirmation, and your gift link appears on your private order page.

Caveat one: fees and timing

Bitcoin fees and confirmation times vary with network congestion. During quiet periods a transaction confirms in minutes for a few cents. During heavy congestion it can take much longer and cost meaningfully more, which is awkward on a short subscription where the fee becomes a noticeable share of the total.

Caveat two: exchange withdrawal fees

This is the single most common cause of a short payment. If you withdraw directly from an exchange, many platforms deduct their withdrawal fee from the amount you entered. Enter the exact amount your order shows and you may send less than that.

Check the confirmation screen carefully: you want the amount received to match your order, not the amount debited. Add the fee on top if your exchange works that way.

Sending from a hardware or software wallet

Wallets like Electrum, Sparrow, BlueWallet, or a Ledger through its companion app are straightforward. Scan the QR code, verify the amount, set a reasonable fee rate, and send. Do not set the fee so low that the transaction stalls for hours.

Do not send Bitcoin on the wrong network

Send native BTC on the Bitcoin network only. Wrapped variants such as BTCB on BNB Chain, WBTC on Ethereum, or Lightning payments are different assets and different rails. They will not credit your order and may be unrecoverable.

After payment

Once your transaction confirms, the order flips to confirmed automatically and we purchase the gift. Keep your order id, since the gift link is delivered on that page and nowhere else.
